Resurrecting "Drive By" Beyond The Edge
I’m thrilled to announce the resurrection of my project, Drive By 2.0 ‘Beyond The Edge’ Originally conceived around seven years ago, capturing the essence of my surroundings within a seven-mile radius of my home in Thaxted. Sadly, two years ago, a hard drive failure resulted in the loss of all the high-resolution images. Despite my usual habit of multiple backups, this time, I had none.
I am now embarking on “Drive By 2.0” with renewed enthusiasm. This project spans the area between Saffron Walden and Dunmow, capturing the familiar scenes I encounter daily. The project allows me to jump in the car whenever the weather turns interesting, or the skies become particularly beautiful. In East Anglia, the flat landscape means the sky dominates two-thirds of your vision, creating a perfect canvas for this project.
Here are the first two images from “Drive By 0.2.” which bizarrely, have a slightly different vibe to the original Drive By.
